Zachary Klixbull

Student Bio

Zachary Klixbull is currently a senior enrolled in the Architectural Engineering Program at Pennsylvainia State University. In May 2012, he will graduate with a bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus in mechanical systems. Mr. Klixbull is a member of ASHRAE ( American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers) and NAHB ( National Association of Home Builders).

In the past, five summers Mr. Klixbull has participated in four internships. He interned with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for two summers as part of the surveyor team for district 1 and Clark Nexsen for two summers as part of the mechanical department. These summer internships provided experience and insight into design, building clients, standards and codes. Mr. Klixbull will be advancing his professional career by attending the spring 2012 FE Exam to gain EIT status upon graduation and pursue his Professional Engineer license.

Outside of academics, Mr. Klixbull is a proud member of the 193rd Air National Guard Maintenance Group. He has been with the Air National Guard for over three years and Air Reserves for four years. His professional job in the Air national Guard is maintain the aircraft's electrical and environmental systems. Zachary enjoys outdoor activities and brewing beer. He is also a member of the AHA ( American Homebrewers Association).
